About Dr. Robert Schattner
Dr. Robert Schattner has been a General Practitioner for 40 years, building and operating an award-winning Bayside medical centre. Over the years, he has developed a keen interest in the aged care sector, servicing a number of Bayside aged care facilities where he has fostered excellent relationships with the support staff and established trusting relationships with each and every one of his patients.
Dr. Schattner has undertaken extensive training in wound management, an important issue in aged care. He works closely with palliative care specialists, supporting patients at home and in aged care facilities.
He conducts annual flu clinics, servicing both his patients as well as the facility staff. His flu clinics are run annually, starting from March.
Dr. Schattner is available to see patients in Bayside aged care facilities and for home visits. To discuss your medical needs, please contact us via our contact form.
Health checks
We offer annual health assessments, prepare care plans with access to allied health services, and do regular medication reviews in conjunction with the pharmacist.
Flu shots & clinics
We offer annual flu clinics to Aged Care residents and staff. Flu shots are also available during home visits.
Home visits
We bring our medical services to you, no matter where you are in the Bayside area.
Consulting
We work closely with other specialised geriatric services - geriatrician, psychogeriatric, falls and balance clinics, and continence services.
